What is the use of Budesonide
This medicine is a type of steroid which is used for the medication of asthma and non-infectious rhinitis (including hay fever and other allergies), and also for medication and anticipation of nasal polyposis. In addition, it is used for Crohn's disease. Budesonide has a high first pass metabolism. It has efficiency in the fatal ileum and the right colon. Budesonide in distinction with prednisolone has been linked with less bone mass losses, and, unlike other corticosteroids, has little control on the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, which also restrictions the need of thinning before discontinuation. Overall, it has a lower incidence of general demonstrations than similar medications.
Before Taking Budesonide
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to budesonide. Consult to your doctor about any kind of infection and sickness before using the Budesonide. You may not be able to use Budesonide until get well. Consult to your doctor if you have allergy of any medicine, or given conditions:
Your are having any disease related to liver
glaucoma or cataracts
having herpes infection in your eyes
tuberculosis or any other contamination or disease
sores or ulcers inside your nose

Consult to your doctor when you get pregnant during dosage of this medicine or before taking this medicine in case of pregnancy or if you are breast-feeding a baby.
How should take Budesonide
Always take Budesonide as given by your doctor.
Do not take dose in larger or smaller amount of Budesonide without recommendation of your doctor.
Follow the direction given on the prescription label for the patient. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
Consult to your doctor. The usual dose of Budesonide is 1 to 4 sprays into each nostril once per day.
Before using the spray for the first time, you must cover the spray pump.
Shake well the medicine and spray 8 check sprays into the air and away from your face. Spray until fine smog comes out.
Cover the spray pump if you are not using more than 2 days.
If you have not used the spray till 2 weeks, clean the applicator and cover with 2 trial sprays.
Shake well the medicine bottle before each use. This medicine may take up to 2 weeks to cure your symptoms.
For best results, keep using the medication as directed. Consult to your doctor if your symptoms do not get better after a week of medication.
Budesonide should not give the injurious effects on your nose or sinuses, if it occurs immediately consult to your doctor. Keep visit regularly your doctor for the progress. Do not miss any scheduled with your doctor.
Store Budesonide in a standing position at room temperature, do not expose to moisture and heat.
After every 120 sprays, do not use more spray. Throw the bottle away.
What happens if missing a dose of Budesonide
If you have missed your dose then try to have it as soon as possible with in time, but no need to have it with the next dose, just avoid the missed one and take the next dose according to the doctor's advice.
What happens if overdose of Budesonide
Consult to your doctor or call emergency medical service if you face any overdose indications. There is no life-threatening symptom of this medicine, but the long-term usage of high steroid doses can lead to symptoms such as:
Skin contraction
easy staining
changes in the shape or location of body fat (especially in your face, neck, back, and waist)

Other drugs affecting when take Budesonide

HIV /AIDS medicine such as nelfinavir or ritonavir
an antibiotic such as clarithromycin, erythromycin, troleandomycin
an antifungal medication such as itraconazole or ketoconazole
an ""SSRI"" antidepressant such as fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, or paroxetine
A tricyclic antidepressant such as amitriptyline, amoxapine, clomipramine, desipramine, doxepin , imipramine, nortriptyline, protriptyline, or trimipramine. Other drugs may affect Budesonide. Consult to your doctor about all medications if you are already using. This includes direction of dosage of other medicines, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal products.
